Carney Clegg
Carney Clegg, Senior Systems Analyst and .NET applications developer,
has more than 14 years of programming experience related to
information sharing, data translation, data reporting, and
Web forms development. Mr. Clegg performs services related
to emerging e-mail and multiple-user technologies, electronic
health records, and the further use of information technology
in clinical support. As a software developer, Mr. Clegg
created a system that takes in medical claims data,
stores it in a database so that it could be used by an
auditing program written on behalf of insurers, wrote software that takes in clinician
orders for lab tests, extracts and stores data in its
database, and returns results to the clinicians, and wrote
software that facilitated the electronic exchange of
emergency response data with the State agency responsible for
collecting such data.
Mr. Clegg recently developed a reporting application using
Microsoft .NET technologies for data stored in SQL Server
2005, an application to authenticate users in Active
Directory, and a company-wide SharePoint site.
He implemented Microsoft .NET Single Sign-On using
Forms Authentication on an Internet Information Server (IIS)
6.0 Web Server for a third-party Java application hosted in
Apache Tomcat 6.0 and used as part of a system-wide portal.
He also serves as a technical trainer in both the development
and use of information technology applications. Mr. Clegg’s
skills include the programming languages C#, C++,
Visual Basic, VBScript, Javascript, and Java; database
applications, such as SQL Server 2008; and application
programs, including Visual Studio .NET, Visual C++ 6.0, and
Microsoft SharePoint online collaboration software.
He holds a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
certification, as well as two Microsoft Certifications in
Sharepoint, has completed coursework toward an M.S. in
Computer Science, and holds a B.S. in Math from the
University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
